Memberships
Can I upgrade my membership later?
Yes, you can upgrade at any time by paying the difference between your current plan and the new one.
What happens if I miss a payment?
For recurring memberships, access may be paused until payment is received. Friends Memberships may be suspended for all members if one person fails to pay.
Do you offer corporate memberships?
Yes! Companies can arrange group memberships for employees. Contact us for more detailed information.
Can I pause or suspend my membership?
Yes, suspension is possible for longer memberships (6-month or 12-month) upon request before expiration. Contact Us for detailed information.
Bookings & Trainings
Do I need to book group training?
Yes, group training spots are limited. Please contact the trainer for more detailed information on group trainings, number of places, prices and schedules.
What happens if I miss a booked class?
If you cancel your training by informing your trainer at least 8-12 hours in advance, no penalty applies. Missed group or personal trainings without notice may count as used.
Can I book training for two or more people together?
Yes, we offer couples, groups and individual training session. Pricing may differ depending on group size. Please contact the trainer for more detailed information on all offered trainings, number of places, prices and schedules.
Payments
Do you have auto-renewal for memberships?
Monthly memberships are not auto-renewed automatically. If you wish to renew your membership, please contact Gym administration at the reception.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, gift vouchers for memberships, day passes may be offered. Perfect for friends and family. Please contact Gym administration via email address (mygym@mygym.lv) for detailed information. Personal or group training gift vouchers are not offered.
Facilities & Equipment
Do you have showers and lockers?
Yes, personal lockers, changing rooms, showers and sauna are included in all memberships.
Is parking available?
Yes, limited parking is available directly on-site. Since our gym is located within an apartment complex, availability may vary depending on the time of day. If our lot is full, additional public street parking is available just outside the territory.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available for all members.
Do you provide towels?
We encourage you to bring your own towel. However, Towel rental may be available at reception as well.
Is there air conditioning / heating?
Yes, our facility is climate-controlled for comfort year-round.
Can I refill my water bottle?
Definitely. We encourage members to stay hydrated. Refill station is available.
Do you play music? Can I request songs?
Yes! We always have background music to keep the gym vibe lively. During quieter hours, we’re happy to consider song suggestions, but please note that bringing your own speakers or audio devices isn’t allowed, so everyone can enjoy a comfortable workout environment.
Can I film or take photos in the gym?
Taking Photos and videos is allowed as long as you don’t disturb others and respect everyone's privacy. Please read Marienbades Gym Internal Rules and Regulations for all detailed information For filming workouts, please ask staff first for permission.
Do you have Massage services?
Sauna is temporarily unavailable. Massage services are available. To book a massage, please contact us via the website or at the gym reception.
Gym Rules & Safety
What’s your hygiene policy?
All members must use a towel on equipment and sanitize machines and equipment after use.
Can I bring food or drinks?
Only water and sports drinks are allowed in the workout areas.
Do you have a dress code?
Proper sports attire and clean indoor shoes are required. No jeans, sandals, or outdoor shoes are allowed.
Special Offers & Discounts
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we might run promotions during holidays and summer. Follow us on social media (@mygym.lv) or visit our website www.mygym.lv for updates.
Can I combine discounts?
Discounts cannot be combined unless stated in the offer terms.
Trial & First-Time Visitors
What should I expect on my first visit?
On your first visit, if necessary, our staff will guide you through the gym, explain equipment use, and answer any questions.
Is the Free Trial really free?
Yes, your first trial visit is 100% free. Prior registration is required. See "Memberships" Page. No hidden costs.
Do I need to bring an ID?
Yes, please bring a valid ID card or passport for verification during first trial visit.
Personal Training
Do you offer personal training?
Yes, certified trainers are available for one-on-one or small group sessions. Please contact the trainer for more detailed information on all offered trainings, number of places, prices and schedules.
Can I choose my own trainer?
Absolutely! You can select a trainer based on availability, specialization, and your fitness goals.
Is personal training included in memberships?
No, personal or group training sessions are not included in memberships.
Opening Hours
What are your opening hours?
We are open daily from 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
Are you open on holidays?
We are open on all public holidays. Check announcements or our social media for updates.
Kids & Family
Can children use the gym?
Children under 14 are not permitted on the gym floor. Teens aged 14–17 may join with parental consent and supervision.
Do you have childcare services?
No, we do not provide childcare at the moment. Parents are responsible for supervising their children.
Do you offer family memberships?
Yes! Monthly memberships are offered with a discounted rate for households (2+ people) training together.
Fitness Programs
Do you provide nutrition advice?
Some of our trainers can provide personalized guidance on nutrition. Please contact the trainer for more detailed information on all offered services.
Are there weight loss or strength programs?
Yes, specialized programs for weight loss, strength building, conditioning, and general fitness and more are provided by our trainers. Please contact the trainer for more detailed information on all offered trainings, number of places, prices and schedules.
Do you run challenges or competitions?
Seasonal fitness challenges and community events might be organized throughout the year.
Cancellations & Refunds
Can I cancel my membership anytime?
Single and monthly memberships can’t be refunded once started. Period memberships can not be refunded once started, unless other rules are outlined in your contract.
Do you refund unused visits?
No, unused visits or missed sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Can I transfer my membership to someone else?
In most cases, memberships are non-transferable. Exceptions may apply for longer-term (period) memberships with manager approval.
